1. The first music review!

This is the first music review I’m gonna do. It’s not a review of a new album. Just a relatively new artist.

    Kate Nash

    Made Of Bricks.

    Five out of Five Stars.

    Album Cover

This sweet, girly Brit’s debut album should’ve been an instant hit. The happy, upbeat tones of “Merry Happy” and the slow, smooth melodies of the ever-wishing “Nicest Thing” that every girl can relate to, and the harsh reality of “Foundations” really bring this album to life. Sweeter than Lily Allen, but very much similar. “Dancing at discos, eating cheese on toast. Yeah, you make me happy made me very very happy, but you ob iously, you didn’t want to stick around.” This line from “Merry Happy” shows both sides of Kate Nash— her sweet, random, happy side, and her vengeful, you-dumped-me-you-evil-little-bastard side. In “Foundations,” we see her trying to break away from an unhappy relationship, but somehow, she can’t bring herself to. Following the ups and downs of her life through this musical work makes for a great listen again and again.
